This BalanceFrom mat is easy to install and is great for a home gym. The tiles lock together, leaving no seams to trip over. The mat does not quickly absorb liquids and cleans easily with a damp cloth. My treadmill and bike sink into the foam slightly, but I have not noticed any imbalance in the equipment. The mats have worked great for doing floor exercises, soft to ease impact strikes but firm to allow for balance while doing lunges. The foam was placed on the carpet, and I noticed no damage.

We recently transformed our basement into a play area for the kids. Concrete is cold and uninviting so we got these mats for the floor. I saw some in Home Depot but they were more expensive and not to mention a lot thinner. My wife told me to check out Amazon instead and that’s where I came across these. You get more bang for your buck and they’re thicker.
We got several packs in blue and it definitely livens things up. It’s very easy to set up, you just fit all the pieces together. There were a few corners that had to be trimmed but that wasn’t a big deal at all. We got the entire floor done in less than 30 minutes.
All in all, a very good product. It does get dirty though and since our son likes sitting and playing on the floor, we make an effort to clean the mats regularly. We usually start by vacuuming the area, then we use a cleaner. We have a mop with a microfiber pad and that works great at accumulating all the gunk. The head swivels too so we can easily clean the corners and edges. It depends on our schedule but we usually mop it with cleaner every 2-3 days. Sometimes, if there’s just a small mess we’ll use plain water.
